GameTime CARES is a nonprofit organization created to provide access to basketball training for all youth no matter their economic status. Our mission is to provide mentorship, leadership and promote health through basketball.

A Note from Coach Jarrod about GameTime CARES

I started a not-for-profit to give back. I grew without an active father in my life, being raised by a single mom and not having any male figure for guidance besides my basketball Coach. Growing up affordable or free basketball programs were not available and living in a single parent household, it was not in the budget. It is important to me to help change that and be a part of the solution.

I started this not for profit to be able to teach the fundamentals of basketball, making them apart of the kids everyday game. Helping to show different strategies and tricks that can help them achieve their goals on and off the court. It is imperative that each youth that I coach feels from me, that I believe in them 100% . More importantly I want them to leave with a strong belief in themselves and understand if they are willing to put in the work, nothing can stop them.

Basketball helped me to stay focused on school, stay out of trouble outside and make long-lasting friendships. Through GameTime CARES we strive to do the same.
